AGP organisational meet held at Kaliabor

 KALIABOR, Oct 22 – An organisational meet of Kaliabor District AGP Samittee was held here recently at the AGP office premises as per central committee directive.

 All office-bearers, district committee members and others attended the meet. Atul Bora, executive president AGP central committee and Pradip Hazarika, general secretary (central committee) were present in the meeting as observers.

The meeting was presided over by Dr Alciary, president. Keshab Mahanta, MLA of Kaliabor and general secretary of AGP central committee delivered his welcome address.

MK Nath, secretary of AGP district committee explained the objective of the organisational meet and presented a detailed report in respect of formation of 18 anchalik samittees.

Pradip Hazarika interacted with all the anchalik presidents and secretaries present on organisational matters, particularly formation of anchalik samittees to sort out any problems etc. Hazarika appealed to all the office-bears of the anchaliks to make the committees active in all respects for all-named strength of the regional party for the grassroots level so that the regional party many march forward to do better in the future.

Atul Bora in his brief speech discussed about burning foreigners problem, big-dam issue, flood erosion and recent diesel price hike, besides the BTAD incidents. AGP’s rule will be most significant in the coming days, he said. All workers for the grassroots level should come forward to strenghten for regional party he appealed.

Keshab Mahanta too appealed to the members of the regional party to work sincerely and unitedly.
