Bangladesh team lift Bodousa Cup
 TINSUKIA, Sept 23 - Saif Sporting Club, Bangladesh emerged champions in the Bodousa Cup by defeating Jamshedpur FC 2-0 in the final of the 10th International Invitational Football Tournament at the TDSA Katchujan playground here today.

Denis found the back of the net in the 25th minute while Park converted an 86th minute penalty. Jamshedpur FC paid the price for missing out on a number of opportunities.

The prize distribution ceremony was attended Lakhimpur MP Pradan Baruah, Assam Football Association secretary Ankur Dutta, AASU secretary Lurinjyoti Gogoi, among others. The champions and runners-up teams were awarded Rs 1 lakh and Rs 50,000 respectively while Md Ashifullah of Jamshedpur FC was awarded the man of the final award. Shahid of Bangladesh walked away with the best player of the tournament award. Chayasal Youth Club of Nepal received Rs 30,000 for securing the third position by defeating Gokulm Kerala FC. The tournament was jointly organised by the Assam Football Association and Bodousa Sports Club with the cooperation of Tinsukia, Sadiya, Majuli, Digboi and Duliajan Sports Associations.
