 GUWAHATI, Sept 23 – Oil India Ltd, Duliajan clinced title in the Aircel GTC Challenge Football tournament with 2-1 victory over Rangdajed United Football Club of Shillong in the summit clash at the Judges’ Field here this evening.

Jayanta Basumatary took OIL ahead in the 30th minute and the winning team maintained the lead till the half-time.

However, Nagan Tamang restored parity in the 55th minute with a deserving goal.

But, the Shillong outfit could not defend their fort as Mintu Boro fired the match winning salvo in the 62nd minute the seal the fate the of match.
