Riding clubs distribute relief to flood-affected
Staff Reporter
GUWAHATI, Sept 20 - In an effort to stand by the side of the community during trying times, Royal Enfield and its community of riding clubs have extended support to the NE states’ fight against floods.

Royal Enfield dealerships along with its community of riders have come forward to provide food and rehabilitation to the affected people across Assam.

“Royal Enfield dealerships and riders from the community-led groups are offering a helping hand to those who have been affected. One of the most prominent faces from the riding community, who has been working tirelessly, is Nirmali Nath. An avid Royal Enfield rider, traveller and social worker, Nirmali with her team helped around 900 families who were severely affected by the floods. She reached out to families who were displaced in locations like Bhogerpar, Barpeta, Keotpara, Hajo, Lahorighat, Nagaon, Maithan, Tezpur and Nellie,” a statement said. Along with her team, she distributed essentials and provided monetary help to the affected people.

The Assam Rhinos Motorcycle Club, a group of Royal Enfield riders based in Guwahati, has also come forward for the relief effort.
