GUWAHATI, Sept 14 - Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal inaugurated a silk yarn bank and laid the foundation stone of a multi-disciplinary sports complex at Sualkuchi in Kamrup district today.

Speaking on the occasion, Sonowal gave an account of the Centrally-sponsored welfare schemes taken up in the State and urged the people to transform schemes like Swachh Bharat Abhiyan into a people’s movement.
