127 new cases detected in Arunachal

 ITANAGAR, Sept 11 - Arunachal Pradesh on Thursday recorded 127 fresh COVID-19 cases, which took its count of confirmed cases to 5,672.

 The State also saw the release of 99 patients following recovery. With this, the number of discharged cases has shot up to 4,005.

The State has 1,658 active cases, coupled with nine casualties, according to a bulletin issued by the State Directorate of Health Services here.

Of the new cases, 57 were reported from the Itanagar Capital Complex, including 24 from the Banderdewa check gate, 17 from a paid quarantine testing centre, Itanagar, 13 from the TRIHMS, Naharlagun, and two from RKMH, Itanagar.

Papum Pare detected 18 cases, including 14 at the Hollongi check gate, followed by East Siang (12), Lower Subansiri (11) and Lower Dibang Valley (10). Five cases were reported from Upper Siang and four from Lohit. Two cases each were found in Tirap, Upper Subansiri and Longding, and one each in Kurung Kumey, Namsai, West Kameng and West Siang districts.
