GUWAHATI, Sept 9 – The District Administration of Kamrup Metropolitan has made special arrangements for delivery of the registered deeds to the citizens from September 10.
In the first phase, delivery of registered deeds executed up to the year 2004 has been taken up.
“The citizens are requested to submit the claim in any counter of the Public Facilitation Center or the Help Desk where a token will be issued. The date of delivery would be intimated through SMS specifying the places and time of delivery of the deed,” an official press release stated.
The administration has requested the citizens to produce the original receipt of payment of registration fees and also to provide the mobile phone numbers at the time of submission of the claim in the counter. It is further requested that the receipt is submitted at the time of delivery of the deeds. The tokens will be issued between 10-30 am and 3 pm on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
The delivery of registered deeds executed after 2004 would be taken up in the next phase i.e. by the first part of December, 2012.
“Any inconvenience felt by citizen may be brought into the notice of F Ahmed, ADC, who is looking after the matter of registration or be intimated through the toll free phone number 1800-345-3628,” the release stated.
