Udit, Anchit, Kristi make it to semis

 JORHAT, Sept 5 - Assam players Udit Gogoi, Anchit Gogoi and Kristi Boro entered the semifinal of the ONGC-AITA Super Series Tennis Tournament which witnessed some upsets in both the boys and girls singles quarterfinal matches. In the boys category, 5th seed Busham Haobam of Manipur upset 2nd Seed Vishesh Jainish Patel of Gujarat 6-3, 6-2 and 6th seed Nithis Baalaji of Tamil Nadu upset 4th seed Abishek Mohapatra of Odisha 7-6 (4), 7-5.

In the girls category, 8th seed Maithili Mothe of Maharashtra upset the 3rd seed Sweta Samanta of West Bengal 6-2, 2-6, 4-1 (Concede).
