BJP expels senior leader Staff Reporter GUWAHATI, Sept 5 - Senior BJP leader Mira Borthakur was today expelled from the primary membership of the party for alleged “anti-party” activities.
The State Disciplinary Committee of the BJP took the decision to expel Borthakur from the party following a recommendation in this regard from the Mahila Morcha of the State BJP.
The party alleged that Borthakur had in recent times taken a public stand against the BJP’s ideology and policies and acted against the interest of the organisation.
