Teli bats for food industry in Mizoram

 AIZAWL, Sept 4 - Union Minister of State for Food Processing Industries Rameswar Teli said here today that the food processing industry has immense potential in Mizoram, and that the Centre would extend all possible help to explore this sector.

Teli was addressing the North East SC-ST Entrepreneurs Conclave 2019 at the Aijal Club here.

“The Ministry of Food Processing Industries will take all possible steps to set up more industries in the State,” he said.

Teli said that his ministry would organise a roadshow in Mizoram soon. People of Mizoram will be made aware of different schemes available for food processing industries through this event.

He said that four such roadshows have already been organised in four North Eastern States. Member of Parliament from Mizoram C Lalrosanga and other dignitaries also addressed the conclave.

The Union minister also released a booklet on the conclave.
