Eid-uz-Zuha celebrated
 RANGIYA, Sept 2 - Along with the rest of the country, Eid-uz-Zuha was celebrated with religious fervour by the Muslim community here today.

 People offered community Namaaz in the morning at Islampur, Highway Chowk and Iddgah Maidan and greeted each othet for peace, prosperity and success.

In Kokrajhar: BTC Chief Hagrama Mohilary today took part in Eid-uz-Zuha special prayers at Monakosa Iddgah Maidan in Kokrajhar and offered prayers.

Senior BPF leaders, among others, also attended the function and offered prayers on the occasion. He also announced financial assistance for construction of the boundary wall of the Monakosa Iddgah Maidan. Mohilar appealed to all to maintain peace and harmony and extend cooperation for all-round development of the region.

Later, talking to mediapersons, Hagrama Mohilary said he prayed for peace, progress and prosperity of the region as well as the State. He also conveyed his greetings to the people of this region as well as the State on the auspicious occasion of Eid-uz-Zuha, our Correspondent adds.
