Assam boys gain three points against Tripura

 GUWAHATI, Oct 18 – With a thin but vital 14-run first innings lead, Assam gathered three points against Tripura’s one in the Vijay Mercent Trophy U-16 cricket tournament at the Barshapara cricket stadium here today.

On the final day of the three-day match, in reply to visiting team’s first innings total of 181, Assam, resuming at the overnight total of 137 for five, scored 195 losing all the wickets.

In the second innings, Tripura were 76 for six when stumps were drawn finally.
