Man held on rape charges CORRESPONDENT DIMAPUR, Oct 11 - A 37-year-old man was arrested for allegedly raping his minor stepdaughter at Meluri in Phek district on Wednesday.
Sources today said the man from Reguri village under Meluri subdivision had allegedly raped his 11-year-old stepdaughter on several occasions. He was arrested by Meluri Town Police after the Meluri Town Women Welfare Society lodged a complaint against him. The Pochury Hoho of Meluri town has condemned the act and urged the authority concerned to book the accused under relevant sections of the law.
