DIMAPUR, Nov 28 - A delegation of the US company- CG Global LLC (TCG) and Mumbai-based Navrattan Blue Crete Industries Pvt Ltd today called on Nagaland Chief Minister TR Zeliang at his office in Kohima to explore the possibilities to invest in the energy sector with latest technology . It is learnt that the US company has expressed its willingness to invest in the State, especially in the power sector.
After the slide presentation on the technology, the delegation and the Government official discussed in detail on the nitty-gritty and feasibility of operations, cost of production and draft Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The investment would require some acres of land, solid wastes and government logistic support for Rs 450 crore proposed project in Nagaland.
The Chief Minister suggested for holding more meetings to study the advantages and disadvantages of the US technology which would be first of its kind in India.
The CG Global LLC (TCG) designs and operates gasification plants capable of converting carbon-containing feedstock such as biomass, rubber or solid waste into synthesis gas called Syngas.
