Naga IRB troops leave for Gujarat poll duty
 DIMAPUR, Nov 26 – Fifteen companies of IRB (Nagaland Police) comprising 1,448 personnel have left for duty in election-bound Gujarat. Five companies from 12th, 13th and 14th IRB (NP) were drawn for election duty in the State which is having Assembly polls on December 13 and 17. They departed here Sunday by a special train. They are scheduled to reach Bhavnagar in south Gujarat on November 28.

The IRB personnel will be deployed in south Gujarat in the first phase of elections to be held on December 13. In the second phase on December 17, they will be deployed in north Gujarat, it was learnt.

Nagaland DGP O Alem, other high ranking senior police officials and family members of the personnel were present to see them off.
