Correspondent
ITANAGAR, Nov 25 - As the united Opposition consisting of major political parties like Congress, Trinamool Congress and BSP have given a call for Bharat bandh on November 28 in protest over demonetisation of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes by Narendra Modi-led BJP Government, the Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) has decided to observe the day as “Aakrosh Divas” (Protest Day) across the State.

APCC president Padi Richo has called upon all its district and block units to organise the Aakrosh Divas in protest against the withdrawal of the high value currency notes.

He also appealed the party leaders and workers to join the mass demonstration being staged at the tennis court near Indira Gandhi Park here on Monday from 9 am.
