Martyred BSF jawan cremated

 AGARTALA, Nov 25 - The body of BSF jawan Sambhu Satmura, who was martyred in a land mine blast in Kashmir last Tuesday, was flown here today and cremated with full State honour at the Battala burning ghat.

 The body of Satmura (34), who was a havildar of F company of 107 Bn BSF in Kashmir, was flown by an Indian Airlines flight and taken to his ancestral house at Subhashnagar, where thousands of people paid floral tributes.

CPI(M) leader and Mayor of the Agartala Municipal Corporation Prafullajit Sinha, president of Tripura unit of BJP Biplab Deb, and TPCC president Birajit Sinha visited the house of the brave jawan who is survived by his wife, mother and two sisters. – PTI
