Kaavya bags double crown

 GUWAHATI, Nov 24 - Kaavya Sawhney of India clinched double crown in the ITF World Ranking Junior Tennis Championship which concluded today at the All Assam Tennis Association complex, Chachal, here.

In the girls singles U-18 years age group final today Kaavya defeated Aanya Goel of USA 7-5,6-1. She lifted the doubles title yesterday. In the boys U-18 singles final top seed Rishabh Sharda of India ousted 2nd seed Dev Javia also from India in straight sets 7-5,7-5.

In a well attended closing ceremony trophies were distributed by Sangeeta Deka, Marketing Manager, Cleantec Infra Private Limited, Ankush Dutta general secretary, AATA and Digantajyoti Gogoi, joint secretary,AATA.

Final results: (Boys singles) Top seed Rishabh Sharda (IND) bt 2nd seed Dev Javia. 7-5, 7-5. (Girls singles) Kaavya Sawhney (IND) bt Aanya Goel. (USA). 7-5, 6-1.
