GUWAHATI, Nov 21 - The health condition of former Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi deteriorated today and he has been put under mechanical ventilation at the Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH). The three-time former Chief Minister was shifted from the ICU and put under mechanical ventilation after his health parameters worsened this afternoon.  Doctors attending to Gogoi opined that the next 24 hours would be extremely crucial from the point of view of his health. State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma visited the GMCH to take stock of Gogoiís health and held discussions with the doctors on Gogoiís health. ďHe was also incubated and there are also indications toward multiple organ failure. After discussing the matter with his family members and the doctors at AIIMS, New Delhi, it has been decided that his treatment would be continued at GMCH itself,Ē the Health Minister said.
