HarperCollins India ropes in Indian Sports Fan |
GUWAHATI, Nov 20 - In an innovative tie-up, HarperCollins India, the world’s largest entertainment to education publisher has partnered with Indian Sports Fan (ISF), India’s largest community of sports fans for a women’s cricket outreach programme. The move is in tandem with the ongoing T20 Women’s Cricket World Cup ahead of the release of Free Hit: The Story of Women’s Cricket in India authored by award-winning journalist Suprita Das and published by HarperCollins India.
HarperCollins India and Indian Sports Fan together will be catering to women’s cricket fans from 17 countries with exclusive content, podcasts, chats sessions with the author, sharing of historical anecdotes and various other Indian women’s cricket facets starting with fan reading sessions from Free Hit not only in India but also in the UK. ISF has 72,000 sports fans from across the world on its social media platforms, a release said.
