Mumbai outwit Assam in Mustaq Ali Trophy

 GUWAHATI, Nov 17 - In a Group D league match of the Syed Mustaq Ali Trophy T20 match at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai today, Mumbai posted a facile 83-run victory agaist Assam.

Being asked to bat Mumbai amassed a massive total of 206 for the loss of five wickets. Aditya Tare hit 82 off 48 balls while come back boy Prithvi Shaw cracked a 39-ball 63. Today also Assam’s bowling and fielding looked very ordinary without having professional approach considering the standard of the championship. During the match, which was telecast live the commentators also aired negative opinion on Assam players saying the boys were lacking in proper basics.
