Samujjal not to join politics STAFF REPORTER GUWAHATI, Nov 17 – Responding to the newly elected State Bharatiya Janata Party president Sarbananda Sonowal’s invitation to join BJP, the All Assam Students’ Union (AASU) advisor Samujjal Bhattacharyya today said that he would stay away from any political party and politics and would continue to serve the indigenous people of Assam in his own way.
An AASU statement today stated that Bhattacharyya’s stand on the issue of joining politics would not change in the future also.
