BSF organises patriotic band show

 GUWAHATI, Nov 16 - As part of its fortnight-long raising day celebrations, the Border Security Force (BSF) organised a patriotic band show at Nehru Park in the city on Saturday.

Students and teachers of Don Bosco High School, Shrimanta Shankar Academy, Panbazar High School, Handique Girls’ College, Cotton University and NCC cadets and Scouts participated in the event. The BSF presented mementos to the school and college teachers on the occasion.

The BSF Brass and Jazz Band, Guwahati Frontier, armed with drums, trumpets and bagpipes, played a symphony of patriotic music at the event. BSF Deputy Inspector General KK Gulia was present at the event and extended his best wishes to the audience.
