GUWAHATI, Nov 16 – The Cotton Collegiate School, which had a long and memorable experience with music maestro Dr Bhupen Hazarika, today remembered him at a memorial function in the school campus.
It may be recalled that Dr Hazarika was a student of the Cotton Collegiate School and it was at a function here that the maestro made his first public appearance as a very young singer. His singing prowess even drew the attention of Sahityarathi Lakshminath Bezbaruah who blessed young Bhupen after listening to a song rendered by him at a school function.
