GUWAHATI, Nov 15 – The 60th Bharat Ratna Lokopriya Gopinath Bordoloi Trophy will start from November 18 here. Disclosing this at a press meet at the Guwahati Sports Association office here today, GSA general secretary Munin Nobis said 10 teams will be participating in this years meet with the prequarterfinal knockout stage starting from November 18 at Judges’ Field.The teams that will play in the prequarterfinal knockouts are (Group A) ASEB, Green Valley, New Model Club, Udalguri; (Group B) Langsning Sports Club, Shillong, FCI, GSA B Division champion. One team from each group will go through to the quarterfinals.
The teams with direct entry to the quarterfinals are Wayhindoh Club, Shillong, Nagaland Police, Arhima Club and Oil India Limited. The quarterfinals will be a league affair with the semifinals to be played on November 29 and 30.
The final will be played on December 2.
