Mehsud's key aide nabbed in Pakistan

Islamabad, Nov 16 (IANS): Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan commander Mohammed Rafiq, a close aide of its leader Hakimullah Mehsud, has been arrested in the Pakistan capital, a media report said today.

Rafiq was arrested late Monday, police official Tahir Alam told Geo News.

Rafiq had delivered a parcel containing a book with a hidden bomb to police personnel. But the explosion was averted on time, Alam said.

Later, police personnel who saw Rafiq delivering the parcel helped to draw his sketch, leading to his arrest.
