Dhubri BJP ready for panchayat polls
CORRESPONDENT
DHUBRI, Nov 8 - The BJP is all set to establish its own dominance in the ensuing panchayat polls in Dhubri district, which has predominantly been in the hands of the AIUDF and the Congress.

Currently, 16 out of 29 Zila Parishad seats are with the AIUDF while the Congress, the BJP, the AGP and Independent candidates share the rest 13 seats. But the Dhubri BJP members believe that things have changed now and they will set an example in the minority-dominated district in the forthcoming panchayat polls.

Speaking to this scribe, BJP district president Deepak Kumar Saha stated that development will be the only issue on which the party will keep its focus this time. He stated that the party members would go for a door to door campaign for the upcoming panchayat elections.
