50% marks not mandatory for teachers’ post
Staff reporter
GUWAHATI, Nov 8 – Now those who have not secured 50 per cent marks in their final graduate-level examinations will be able to apply for the graduate school teachers’ posts and take part in the recruitment process for those posts.

This has been made possible by a recent order of the Gauhati High Court.

It needs mention here that the State Government had made 50 per cent marks mandatory for those willing to apply for these posts. This was challenged by the All Assam BEd Trained Unemployed Association.
