Sibani Nath brings laurels to Lakhimpur

 NORTH LAKHIMPUR, May 25 - Sibani Nath of North Lakhimpur has secured 10th position in the Higher Secondary Examination-2019 in the Arts stream, results of which were declared by Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) today.

Appearing from Genius Academy of North Lakhimpur, Sibani secured 464 out of 500 with Letter Marks in English, Alternative English, Political Science, Sociology, Logic-Philosophy and Economics. She is the daughter of Rameswar Nath and Maya Gogoi of Chetiagaon, North Lakhimpur. Sibaniís result has once again brought Genius Academyís record of producing highly successful candidates in the HS examination. Talking to The Assam Tribune, the Director of Genius Academy, Dr Mukunda Rajbangshi expressed his utmost satisfaction over the result of Sibani Nath and attributed it to the great effort and sincerity of the teachers in imparting quality education to the students.

It may be recalled that Genius Academy Junior College in North Lakhimpur has been achieving impressive results in the HS examinations under AHSEC since 2012, including securing 1st position in Arts in 2015 and 3rd position in 2017.

Meanwhile, entire Lakhimpur district has been in raptures since morning as two of its students has brought laurels by securing positions from institutes outside the district in the HS Examination-2019. Bitupan Arandhara from Kona Nadi, Lakhimpur secured the top position in Science stream by securing 478 marks out of 500 marks.

The overall result of the HS examination under AHSEC this year from Lakhimpur district is satisfactory. In the Arts stream 87.1% students passed the examination while in Science the success rate is 91.2% and for the Commerce stream it is 78.43%.
