Ana Matin cricket meet

 GUWAHATI, May 20 – City Cricket Coaching Centre and Dimapur Cricket Academy won their group league matches of the Ana Matin All India U-14 and U-17 cricket tournament at the Judges’ Field here today.

City CCC prevailed over Naharkatia by six wickets in the first match of the day while Dimapur got the better of Star Sporting Cricket Academy by three runs. Naharkatia boys managed to score 108 for eight in the stipulated and in reply City hit up 111 for four in 17.3 overs.

The second match of the day was a close one as in reply to Dimapur’s 136 for nine, Star Sporting scored 133.

Brief scores: Naharkatia 108/8 (Rahul Paul 57). City 111/4 (Tanuj Kalita 44, Rakesh Walia 22, Chanta K Das 2/12). Dimapur 136/9 ( Bittu Sekhawat 29, Deepak Chetri 21). Star Sporting 133 (Nikhil Mittal 34, Ajoy Sahani 30).
