Bajengdoba murder: police arrest one suspect
 TURA, May 19 - Police have today identified the prime suspect and arrested one of the three involved in the gruesome murder case near Narangkol under Bajengdoba police station in North Garo Hills.

On May 12 at about 9 pm, two brothers hailing from Assam, who were working in North Garo Hills, were brutally assaulted by three people at Narangkol. The assault led to the death of one Aminul Islam and injury to his brother Mostafa Ahmed.

They hailed from Simulbari village in Goalpara district of Assam. “We have arrested one Sanjit G Momin. He revealed details of what happened and we are now on the lookout for the other two,” police said.

According to police, the three suspects were drinking when the prime suspect in the murder, Tengrak B Marak received a call. Immediately after, he stopped the two brothers who were walking towards Bajengdoba and assaulted them. The three then fled the spot. The villagers informed the police.
