BPF wins Chirang seats

 BONGAIGAON, May 19 - Phani Bhusan Chaudhury, AGP-BJP combine candidate, has won the Bongaigaon seat by 77,134 votes pushing behind his rival Sankar Prasad Ray (Congress), who got 45,920 votes.

In Abhayapuri South seat, Ananta Malo (AIUDF) got 51,518 votes and his nearest rival Chandan Kumar Sarkar (Congress) got 51,280 votes. In Abhayapuri North seat, Congress candidate Abdul Hai Nagori won the seat by obtaining 48,212 votes. His rival Bhupen Ray (AGP) got 46,120 votes.

The BPF party has won all the two seats in Chirang district. Former minister and BPF candidate Chandan Brahma won the Sidli seat by getting 66,037 votes and Kamal Singh Narzary, candidate of the same party, won the Bijni seat with 29,240 votes.
