NDPP observes foundation day
DIMAPUR, May 17 - The Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) of Nagaland has asserted that it remained committed to its aims, objectives and the sacred commitments made to the people.

“We reiterate our declaration of working tirelessly for the all-round upliftment of the people’s welfare,” the NDPP said during the observation of its first foundation day at the party headquarters here on Thursday. The party observed the day with a thanksgiving prayer service.

The major coalition partner of ruling People’s Democratic Alliance also assured to strive for achievement of a redrawn roadmap of development, enforce transparency and combat corruption at all levels, NDPP said in a release.

The release said the NDPP was formed as a response to the desire of the people for an alternative and the need for a movement to bring positive change. The party called upon all sections of the people to join it in its collective endeavour to bring about positive change.
