GUWAHATI, May 17 - A children’s on-the-spot story writing competition is being organised by the Pallavi Barua Foundation at Maharishi Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School, Silpukhuri, from 3 pm on May 19. Children from Class-V to Class-VIII are eligible to participate in the competition.
The participants can write either in English or Assamese. They are requested to bring their own pen and hardboard. Paper for writing will be provided by the organisers. The allotment of time and the topic of the story will be announced before the competition. The results of the competition will be declared within a few days in newspapers, social media as well as in the official website of the Foundation.
At a function to be held later, the winners will be awarded with a trophy, a certificate and a gift pack. The Foundation anticipates support and enthusiasm from children and their guardians to make this competition a success, stated a press note.
