Murder accused granted bail|
GUWAHATI, May 17 - Prime accused of the sensational Sweta Agarwal murder case, Govind Singhal, was today granted bail by the Gauhati High Court.
The Court of Justice Rumi Kumari Phukan allowed Singhal to go on bail, reportedly keeping in view that the trial into the case has already begun and that two other accused, including Singhal’s mother and sister have already been allowed to go on bail.
Sweta, a State topper in the Commerce stream, was murdered by her boy friend in his house in December. The murder case of Sweta Agarwal is being tried in a fast track court.
