Fuel shortage hits Adarani service in Nalbari hospital
Correspondent
NALBARI, May 17 - The shortage of fuel in the all five Adarani vehicles available in the Nalbari Swahid Mukunda Kakati Civil Hospital triggered an unruly situation in the hospital campus on Tuesday.

The Health Department provided five such vehicles to the district hospital to drop the parents and their newborn babies at their homes after delivery in the hospital. A pregnant woman from Chamata areas of the district was admitted to the hospital a few days ago. After giving birth to a baby, the woman and her infant were discharged by the hospital on Tuesday.

The guardian of the woman then required an Adarani vehicle from the hospital authority to drop them at their residence. However, the hospital authority failed to provide the facility of the Adarani only due to the shortage of fuel in all the five vehicles. The attendants of the woman protested the negligence of the Health Department creating an unruly situation on the campus.
