Assam armwrestlers bag 24 medals|
GUWAHATI, May 15 - Assam won a total of 24 medals including 11 gold and nine silver in the 42nd National Armwrestling Championship held at Ravindralaya, Lucknow from May 9 to 14.
Assam emerged as the second best team in the championship, informed Assam Armwrestling Association secretary and team leader Pran Pratim Chaliha in a release.
More than 650 armwrestlers from 23 States took part in the championship.
