While speaking at a ‘Go to Village’ camp at Govindagram in Imphal West today, he said that his government has been focusing on inclusive growth for the people in the state.
“Our main objective is to improve our healthcare and education sectors,” he said and appealed to the people to take advantage of new schemes.
“The ‘Go to Village” mission undertaken by the present government has already paid dividends. The people would no more face the inconvenience of visiting different government offices for enrollment of various schemes or registering their grievances, he added. The Chief Minister informed that around 80,000 applications were received on the inaugural day of the ‘Go to Village’ campaign, of which, 40,000 grievances have been sorted out.
In this context, he announced that bathrooms and toilets, especially for women would be constructed throughout the state. An amount of Rs 3.5 lakh would be allocated for construction of toilets and bathrooms, he added.
