 GUWAHATI, May 5 – The 65th edition of the National Football Championship for Santosh Trophy will kick start in four places tomorrow.

At Guwahati host Assam will take on Pondicherry while at Mangaldai Chattishgarh will play against Daman and Diu and Gujrat is scheduled to play against Uttar Pradesh.

Tinsukia will host two matches. In the first match Jammu & Kashmir take on Kerala and in the second encounter Jharkhand to play against Chandigarh.

As two teams from Andhra Pradesh have sent their entries, All India Football Federation has barred both the teams from playing in the championship. As a result it will be a three-team affair in Cluster III at Sivasagar.

The inaugural function of the tournament will be held at the Nehru Stadium here. Meanwhile all the teams have arrived to take part in the preliminary matches.
