Seminar on UPSC exam organized at DU
STAFF CORRESPONDENT
DIBRUGARH, May 1 - Former civil servant and known UPSC mentor Rashi Yasin told students, particularly UPSC aspirants at Dibrugarh University, that the historic tea city Dibrugarh was no less than Delhi and other metros in providing higher quality preparation materials for UPSC exams.

“The students from the region need not move to Delhi and other cities anymore to prepare for the UPSC exam. In Dibrugarh itself, aspirants will get Delhi-level preparation materials and training from known faculty members of UPSC, who have been guiding IAS aspirants since the last 20 years across the country,” said Yasin while delivering his lecture on ‘Demystifying UPSC’ at Dibrugarh University yesterday.

The lecture programme was organized by Career Launcher IAS in collaboration with Dibrugarh Universiy. Career Launcher IAS, which provides learning opportunities to Civil Servant aspirants, has its branch within the campus of Centre for Management Studies in Dibrugarh University. Career Launcher IAS offers a technology driven learning system that enables students to learn from the country’s eminent UPSC faculties in the comfort of their hometowns.

The objective of the programme is to create awareness on UPSC exam among the Dibrugarh students. In the seminar Speaker Yasin guided the students on best preparation strategy for UPSC exam. Students from various colleges of Dibrugarh also took part in the seminar. The students participated actively and also cleared their doubts about various myths surrounding UPSC preparation.

At the end of the seminar, officials of Career Launcher announced the new batches for IAS 2020. Career Launcher IAS is also launching specialized programme for students who are in 1st and 2nd year of their graduation program in association with Dibrugrah University.
