Tezpur boy excels in talent search exam

 TEZPUR, May 1 - Hrishikesh Saikia, a student of Darrang College here cleared the prestigious Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) Examination-2018 under the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru by securing 140 all-India rank among 945 selected candidates in the General Merit list.

The brilliant student who did his Matriculation from Don Bosco High School here with flying colours in 2018, is presently studying in Darrang College and also preparing for his medical and engineering entrance tests at Inspire Academics Coaching Institute of Tezpur.

He is the first student from the region to clear the aforementioned examination conducted by the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru.

An official from Inspire Academics informed that Hrishikesh Saikia secured 58.75 in Aptitude Test out of 100 marks, while in the Interview Test he secured 93.83 marks out of 100.
