Former Arunachal Minister’s mortal remains laid to rest

 ITANAGAR, March 20 - The mortal remains of former Arunachal Deputy Minister of PWD & RWD Ngurang Tazap were today laid to rest with full State honours at his Amba village residential compound in Doimukh under Papum Pare district.

A large number of people from all walks of life, including his admirers, political leaders, officers from district administration and religious leaders participated in the funeral and paid their last respects to the departed leader.

Home Minister Kumar Waii, local MLA cum Minister for UD, Town Planning and Housing Nabam Rebia and Parliamentary Secretary for Home and Education Pani Taram laid a wreath on the body of late Tazap on behalf of the State Government.

The Nyishi Baptist Church Council leaders Kara Sako and Kara Tayo among others performed a religious prayer before the body was taken in a procession to the family graveyard for the last rites. – Correspondent
