Petrol pumps identified by admin to function during lockdown

 GUWAHATI, June 29 - Amidst the total lockdown reimposed in all areas of the Kamrup Metropolitan district, a number of petrol pumps have been identified by the administration to remain functional during the lockdown period for refuelling vehicles of essential services and the vehicles passing through the National Highway 37, with effect from June 28 to July 12, 2020, according to an official notification.

 The administration order directed that during duty hours, all the employees working in the petrol pumps will have to don the employer company’s uniform, carry identity cards, wear face masks, keep sanitizers within the premises of the depot and maintain social distancing.

The petrol pumps identified for the purpose are as follows: Asha Filling Station, Tepesia, NH-37; Chandmal Sarawgi & Co, Sonapur; Raj Service, Basistha Chariali, NH-37; Lakhra Service Station, NH-37; Bhabani Service Station, Saukuchi, NH-37; Swagat RO ISBT, Betkuchi, NH-37; Sogani Service Station, Boragaon, NH-37; North East Service Station, Jalukbari, NH-37; Pradip Oil Depot, Dharapur; SKS Service Station, Lalmati; Chhaganmal Sarawgi & Sons, Dispur; Thansingh Nathmall, Ulubari; Chandmal Sarawgi, Ulubari; Sanjibani Fuel Point, Beltola; NRL, Joyanagar; Bhairabi Service Station, Jatia; NRL, Adabari; Bharali Service Station, Lalganesh; Chandmal Sarawgi & Co, Paltan Bazar; GRE, Noonmati; Kamakhya Energy Point, Bhetapara; Energy Service Station, Jyotikuchi and Mathgharia Auto Service, Forest Gate, Narengi.
