ONGCians observe Yoga Day
SIVASAGAR, June 23 - ONGCians of Assam Asset, Nazira Sivasagar took part in International Yoga Day.

Asset Manager SD Maske conducted a short but powerful capsule of yogic meditation and breathing. He made the participants realise the significance of knowing self, thanking others who helped and seeking excuse from those who were hurt by one’s actions.

He asked the gathering to thank ‘Father of Yoga’ sage Patanjali, who organised and dispersed knowledge about the yogic forms.

He recommended Team HR to collaborate with Team CSIR on the campus of Nazira Asset to organise yoga classes regularly to keep oneself fit and increase productivity of individuals on the personal and professional front.

Team HR assured the Asset Manager that all efforts will be made to continue the spirit of Yoga Day.

Earlier, the ED-Asset Manager, senior officials and DIG of CISF inaugurated the day. Later, watching an hour-long video of yoga made by the Union Ministry of Ayush, the participants under the guidance of the CSIR Yoga instructor performed various asanas and breathing techniques. The Team CSIR performed a special Yoga session.
