Cultural prog to be held during Ambubachi Mela

 GUWAHATI, June 18 - The likes of Anup Jalota, Anuradha Paudwal and Devkinandan Thakur would create a perfect spiritual ambience with their renditions during the Ambubachi Mela starting here from June 22.

Grand cultural programmes would be held on the Sonaram Field premises in the city on all five days of the fest – offering a melodious treat to the devotees thronging the Kamakhya shrine from all parts of the country and abroad.

ATDC Managing Director Kausar Hilaly told The Assam Tribune that singer and orator of Bhagawat Katha Devkinandan Thakur would be at the venue from on all five days.

Eminent Bhajan singer Anup Jalota would come for the cultural programme on June 23 while Anuradha Paudwal would come on June 24. This apart, a number of local artistes would have their devotional programmes on all the days of the Mela.
