College teacher faces life threat

 DIBRUGARH, June 14 - Hate mongers with communal intent continue to be active in the social media despite several arrests and warnings in the wake of the lynching of two youths in Karbi Anglong as lately two youths have been found issuing threat to Assistant Professor Ananta Teron, the Head of the Department of Assamese of DHS Kanoi College.

The two youths identified as Samarjeet Patowary and Naba Buragohain expressed their intent to attack the Assistant Professor of Assamese of the DHS Kanoi College in their Facebook post. The two youths made their comment after one Devraj Dutta had posted anti-Karbi comments in his Facebook account following the lynching incident.

A case (843/18 u/s 295 (A)/506 IPC r/w 66 (D) IT Act) has been registered at Sadar PS here after Teron lodged an FIR with the police. No arrest has been made so far in this connection. Investigation is on.
