 GUWAHATI, June 14 – Atreyee Borooah Thekedath, a city-based entrepreneur, was selected for the prestigious Fortune/US State Department Global Women’s Mentoring Partnership-2012.

Atreyee who is the director of Web.Com (India) Pvt Ltd and a member of the national governing council CII’s Young Indians, is the first woman to have been chosen for the honour. She was among 25 women from across the world who attended the month-long programme

Sharing her experience, Atreyee said that the event began with an orientation in Washington DC where the mentees met with senior women leaders in government, business, academic, civil society and the media.
