AITA meet begins today

 GUWAHATI, June 5 – Players from 18 states, including Delhi, Haryana, Chandigarh, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Maharastra, Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Nagaland and Assam are participating in the AITA Championship Series Tennis Tournament which will begin at the All Assam Tennis association’s Chachal complex here tomorrow.

 The national ranking tournament of the All India Tennis Association (AITA) for boys and girls in the 14 years and 18 years age group. The events to be held are singles and doubles for both boys and girls in the two age groups and the tournament will conclude on Friday.

The next national ranking tournaments to be organised by the All Assam Tennis Association at its complex at Chachal, here will be the oil-aita Super Series Tennis Championship for boys and girls in the 12 years and 16 years age group from July 18 to 22 and the oil-aita Super Series Tennis Championship for boys and girls in the 14 years and 16 years age group from July 25 to 29.
