Sensitisation programme on traffic rules held

 GUWAHATI, June 4 - St Vivekananda English Academy, Maligaon, in collaboration with Prodigy Communications today organised a sensitisation programme on the topic “Alert Today, Alive Tomorrow”.

“The programme was designed with the primary objective to create awareness with the students of the school regarding the necessity to follow traffic rules. The need of the hour is to address the inherent apathy in all of us and to make sure that road safety is understood at a young age, starting from the school itself,” said a statement.

In the programme, Pranabjyoti Goswami, SP (Law-Vigilance and Anti Corruption) as the chief guest, gave a presentation on the 4E’s of road safety and enlightened the students with numerous information regarding traffic signs and several other related facts.

State model to represent India

in world pageant

Guwahati, June 4 - City-based model Suvam Das will represent India in a world pageant to be held in Thailand in August next. He has been selected to represent the country in the ‘Mr Model of the World’ pageant after he clinched the ‘Akshaysmark Mr India Model of the World-2019’ title in Hyderabad recently.
