Four students bring laurels to Jorhat

 JORHAT, May 31 - Four students from Jorhat district bagged positions in the Science and Arts streams of the Assam Higher Secondary examinations 2018, conducted by the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council, the results of which were declared today.

According to information, Sudarshan Singh Sandhu secured the 5 th position from Pragya Academy here in the Science stream by scoring a total of 477 marks. Pragya Priya Borah of the same institute secured the 8 th position in the same stream by securing a total of 474 marks.

In the Arts stream, Anindita Nath of Pragjyotika Junior College, Titabar, bagged the 5 th position by securing a total of 481 marks, while Rahul Das of Gyanpeeth Junior College, Teok, secured the 10 th position by scoring a total of 476 marks.

On the other hand, the pass percentage in the Science stream of Jorhat district was 90.78 , which was marginally above the state pass percentage of 85.74 in the stream.
